Our Story...

Our farm is relatively young to the horse industry but we are steadily gaining a reputation of quality and honesty--two things we are very proud of.
Kevin
and Kim Nicewonder began this farm in 1998 with the determination to see their love of horses
become one of the best performance horse farms in Virginia. We are currently meeting that goal.
Our next goal is to become the largest producer of money and points earning cutting and reining horses on the East Coast.
We are currently working on that goal. And with that in mind, we have a very discriminate process of determining how many and which horses will be bred to our stallions each year. Our primary focus is to keep as much foundation bloodline as possible as we breed to achieve the ultimate equine athlete.
We are committed to the production of an excellent
cow minded, well-mannered horse, and our mares are proven producers and/or possess proven bloodlines, including own daughters of Mr. San Peppy, Smart Chic Olena, Reminic, Doc's Solano, Mifillena, Doc Tari, Coosa and Zips Chocolate Chip. We also have grand-daughters of Doc Olena, Doc Bar, Doc Tari, Cutter Bill, Mr. San Peppy, Topsail Cody, Poco Tivio and Colonel Freckles just to name a few.
With mares like these our foals have the birth right and strong foundation to develop athletic abilities that rival any other horse today.
We also maintain a stringent schedule of mare care to assure ease of foaling and a healthy baby when they arrive.
We believe we must build a strong and solid foundation of trust and discipline with the foal early to insure they grow into mentally well-balanced, people oriented horses. With the proper foundation a horse develops a willing attitude toward his owner/trainer; wanting praise, they will go the extra mile to do whatever is asked of them.
We
also hold high standards for employees, to give and maintain a loving, healthy environment for not only foals, but all of our horses. We strive continually
to produce the very best possible foals for future reining and cutting champions.
Under the care and management of Farm Manager - Mike Hand and instruction of our Training Supervisor - Adam Wampler, we have developed an excellent program for all phases of training. From halter to the arena all our horses are continually conditioned to meet the demands of a world class champion.
We offer boarding and training services, ever striving to meet the needs of the horse enthusiasts in our area. We offer riding lessons for the novice as well as the rider that needs polishing to be more competitive in cutting and reining.
Stop in, see our great horses--watch the trainers work awhile. We give tours, whether it be a group or just a couple, you are always welcome at our farm!
